Galaxy S8: Everything you wanna know

The Next Galaxy, Samsung Galaxy S8 is the most awaited phone after iPhone obviously is all set to launch on the 29th of the coming march. Yeah, it’s a bit late than expected but after the Note 7 tragedy, Samsung is in no hurry to launch its flagship without a complete inspection.

Here are some things we like to share with you about the Samsung’s next flagship phone the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus. So far Samsung has not disappointed us with the leaks we have found.

The next Galaxy will have all most same design as the previous. The both S8 and S8 plus will come with the curved screen display as like of the galaxy S7 edge. So there will not be any normal variant as the S7. The biggest change will be the absence of the home button, the will not be any home button and Samsung is finally moving on to the on-screen buttons.  The fingerprint sensor will be placed on the black side of the phone besides the camera. That will be a hard place to reach the finger. The leak also confirms that the Galaxy will still have the 3.5mm headphone jack. The S8 and S8 Plus will have a  display of 5.8 inches and 6.2 inches respectively also will be thinner than the Galaxy S7. Like the previous Galaxy, the S8 is expected to be waterproof.

Processor: The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 plus will have the latest and the greatest chipset by Qualcomm The Snapdragon 835. The company itself is producing the chip along with Qualcomm and Galaxy S8 mostly the first phone to have it. And it is said that the processor will be faster than the Apple’s A10 chip. The octa-core chip will be clocked up to 2.4 GHz and will have 20% better performance than the previous Snapdragon 820.

Memory: The will be launched in only two variant i.e. 64GB and 128GB. There will be an option to expand the memory using microSD card up to 128GB or can expect even more. Both the variant will be loaded with the 6 GB of RAM.

Display Screen: The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus both will have the curved display. Galaxy S8 will have 5.8 inches display where else the S8 plus will have 6.2 inches display. The display will be super AMOLED and expected to have 4k resolution with over 550ppi pixel density. And will have 90% body to screen ratio.

Camera: Just like the iPhone 7 plus the Galaxy S8 plus will have a dual camera which will work same as the iPhone 7 plus. Mainly the zoom lens will be used in the second camera. For the Galaxy S8, the camera will be improved a bit or may not as the S7 had the best camera Samsung ever made for the phones with the fastest autofocusing for the phones. The Front camera is expected to keep the same as the S7 but there may be autofocusing for the front camera for the better selfies.

Software: The Galaxy S8 will be surely loaded with the Android 7 Nougat out of the box, Will be having new Touchwiz with the new design and an all new artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant named Bixby, like iPhone’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana.

Battery: As the Galaxy S8 has 5.8-inches display the phone will be packed with around 300omAh battery. For the S8 plus with the bigger screen and both the phone having the thinner body, it would be a bit difficult for Samsung to manage the power. Maybe Samsung will prefer to drop the 4k display. It is also expected that Samsung will adopt the type-c USB port with fast charging.

Next iPhone may be from India

The world’s most valuable company Apple is about to start its manufacturing plant in India. It is almost confirmed that the Apple, Inc. will start its manufacturing plant in Indian

So the next iPhone will be made in India?
It’s Official now that Apple will start manufacturing iPhone in Bengaluru, India. Apple gets the green signal to manufacture iPhones in India and is expected to start production from this June i.e. 2017.

As per a release by the Karnataka Government, Apple will be making its new product in India i.e said to be the next iPhone which is the iPhone 8. In December there was news about apple starting a manufacturing plant, is came true this month when Apple had a talk with the senior government officers from Karnataka finalize the terms of its operations in India. It is not clear if Apple got the heavy tax exemption approvals it was seeking from the government.

As per the release, which was signed by Karnataka IT Minister, Priyank Kharge, “Apple will foster cutting edge technology ecosystem and supply chain development in the state, which is critical for India to compete globally.”

They did not mention any timeline for iPhone the manufacturing process in the Bengaluru. The Apple-Wistron manufacturing facility will be based out of Bengaluru’s industrial hub Peenya. Source says that there is no deal or MoU is been finalized between the state government and Apple. However, the Karnataka state IT minister Priyank Kharge had tweeted about the Apple plant at Bengaluru. The Tweet was later deleted by the minister.

Karnataka’s state officials met with senior management from Apple including – Priya Balasubramaniam, VP, iPhone Operations, Dheeraj Chugh, Director, iPhone operations, and more. The government also said that it was looking to collaborate with Apple in other areas of innovation as well.

This will be Apple’s third global iPhone assembly unit, putting India on the radar of the world’s most iconic and valuable company. Apple’s interest in manufacturing product from gives a good message to the other valuable companies to show interest in India. Apple is expected to start assembling iPhones in the country initially, with plans to manufacture the device end-to-end in the near future. Manufacturing iPhone will lead to less cost for apple but we can’t expect a  very less costly iPhone cause the Apple brand has huge value, the most in the world but can surely hope that the next iPhone will cost little less than the current iPhone.

Google confirms that from February 8th some of the chrome users won’t be able to use Gmail on Google Chrome. Gmail will stop working on Chrome Browser version 53 and below, starting February 8, 2017.

Chrome Browser version 53 and below are vulnerable to security risks because Microsoft has discontinued their operating system support for Windows XP and Vista.Gmail users that are still on Windows XP and Windows Vista are the most likely to be affected. These systems are no longer maintained by Microsoft.

You will be able to continue using the affected browsers through 2017 but will be redirected to the basic HTML version of Gmail.

  • Gmail will continue to function on Chrome Browser v53 and below through the end of the year. Users who remain on Chrome v53 and below could be redirected to the basic HTML version of Gmail as early as Dec 2017.
  • If you manage Chrome Browser for your users, we strongly encourage you to update users to the latest version of Chrome. Depending on what operating system your users are on, you may need to migrate them to a supported system to get the latest version and features.

Here are unique features & highlights of Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro:

  • The most popular1 phone priced around Rs. 36,000
  • The Samsung phone with the highest RAM
  • The #2 phone with the highest RAM
  • The #2 thinnest phone priced around Rs. 36,000
  • The #2 Samsung phone with the most powerful battery
  • The #2 most popular NFC phone
  • The #3 fastest phone priced around Rs. 36,000
  • The #3 Samsung phone with the largest display

Currently, the phone is available only in two colors Black and Gold. Trust me the black one looks stunning. The phone is priced at ₹36,900.00 and available for pre-order at Samsung, FlipkartSnapdeal. Samsung also offers one time Screen Replacement at ₹990.

About the re-naming thing, by now you guys might have noticed that there is too much of 6 in the Galaxy C9  pro, that is:

  • 6 inch display
  • 6GB ram
  • Android  6.0.1
  • 16 megapixel camera
  • 64GB internal storage
  • Priced at ₹36,000
  • Powered by sanpdragon  653
  • Expandable to 256GB

This the only reason I though Samsung should have named the handset Galaxy C6 rather than Galaxy C9.
